The Sesquicentenary of St. Mary's School...

In Clapham they have been celebrating 150 years of Education on our site; congratulations!

The staff and pupils, present and from other generations, were joined by many well wishers as they celebrated mass to mark education's sesquicentenary!

Fr Dominic O'Toole C.Ss.R., the present Parish Priest,

Bishop Ralph Heskett C.Ss.R., Bishop of Gibraltar and former Parish Priest,

and

Archbishop Peter Smith, Archbishop of Southwark and also a boy who was educated in Clapham.

The Head Teacher, Miss Karen Pluckrose, welcomes everyone and gives a short address.

Bishop Ralph C.Ss.R., receives the gift from the offertory brought up by three previous head teachers!

The mass was concelebrated by Fr Terry Creech C.Ss.R., and Fr Michael Creech C.Ss.R., both boys of the parish and the school!
