" So Mary is a Queen. And, for our consolation, we ought to remember that she is a most tender and kind Queen eager to help us in our miseries. So much so that the Church wants us to call her in this prayer a Queen of Mercy! "

Missions

Still Streaming and Praying ...

From our Mission Co-ordinator

“ It is welcome news that public celebration of the Eucharist has resumed in England and Ireland, our confreres and parishes will be giving thanks. In Scotland we can now open for private prayer but the option for public Mass has not been restored in Scotland yet. Please keep us in your prayers.

If you would still like to avail of the option of streamed mass, Fr.Kieran CSsR celebrates mass at 12.30 midday on Mondays and Wednesdays and this Sunday 12th July at 10.30am click here for live webcam.

There are still various options at Clonard and Limerick. St Mary’s Clapham although open for Public Mass is continuing to stream Mass on their Facebook page.  Bishop Eton is preparing to open for Mass, however, Fr Tim will continue to record Mass (available on the Bishop Eton You Tube channel) each week for the foreseeable future.

Let’s pray for one another at this time.”

Fr.Kieran CSsR

Fr Kieran - This might help!

We are all getting used to tuning into our Masses, Liturgy and Prayer via Social Media. Diocesan parishes and Religious Orders are stepping up and streaming lots of content. There are plenty of choices out there. As a Redemptorist family we are very much present on the web.

Redemptorist Publications have many useful resources online. There are also recorded and streamed masses from throughout the London and Dublin Provinces.

I have tried to pull a lot of them together into one place to make it easier for those who may be newer to the virtual world. Hopefully one ‘Click’ on the choices below and you will be ‘there’.

They are mostly from these isles, but I have included a couple of USA sites just in case you want a late mass or to go to a different ‘parish’ in these next weeks... All times are GMT.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR MISSION CO-ORDINATOR

Leading parish missions, Novenas and renewals is a cherished part of our Redemptorist identity.

Unfortunately this ministry has been suspended for the moment, however we are still holding you in prayer, especially all of the parish communities that we have been working with recently.

Some of your events have moved to the Autumn, Advent and the Spring of next year. In the meantime perhaps you might like to tune into an online Mission/Retreat from our confreres in the USA (click here)

We here in the UK and Ireland continue to pray for you every day, especially as in Holy Week we walk with Christ, and so many others, on a journey through suffering to the Cross and onwards to Redemption.

Thankfully, I have found a temporary base in a Scottish parish (St James in Paisley) where the Redemptorists recently gave a mission.  I will be praying for you in private throughout Holy Week and beyond. Feel free to join me for a live streamed mass on Wednesday 8th April at 12.30 BST stjames.rcpaisley.org.uk/

Join the Redemptorists at our monasteries across these isles as the life of prayer continues in our communities. ( Clapham, Clonard, Limerick)

May Our Mother of Perpetual Help bring healing and hope to us all.

God Bless,  Stay Safe.

Parish Mission in Hall Green BIrmingham

mssion  logo   jpgFr. Kieran writes;

Our Mission in St. Ambrose Barlow, Hall green, continues, the parishoners are delighted with the services and the atmosphere in the parish during our few days of Mission.

Myself and Fr. Charles Randall CSsR would like to take the credit, but we know it is the action of the Holy Spirit working in all of us during these days. Come and join us at 7pm each evening or follow us on the Church Webcam.
