First weekend gathering for prospective
Redemptorist Lay Associates of the London Province

Fr Maurice O’Mahony sends us this account of the recent meeting of prospective Lay Associates.
The first provincial gathering of prospective, Redemptorist Lay Associates in the London Province took place in the Fisher More Hall of the Redemptorist- run parish of Our Lady of Annunciation, (Bishop Eton) in Liverpool, (UK) from Friday 14th – Sunday 16th June 2019.

At all Masses for the 4th Sunday of Ordinary time (28.1.18) , the parishioners at Bishop Eton and St Mary’s listened to Fr. Maurice O'Mahony speak about Redemptorist Lay Associates Fr Maurice and some of the existing Lay associates also hosted a session in which those interested could learn more.

Each of the Lay Associates present spoke of how they got to know the Redemptorists and their experience of being a Lay Associate so far. They spoke eloquently and enthusiastically and many people expressed an interest in joining them.
