Another Redemptorist at the Northern Catholic Conference...
This year at the Northern Catholic Conference many speakers came from England, Ireland and Scotland. The Redemptorist speaker was just carrying on a tradition, as last year, 2014, Fr Denis McBride CSsR addressed the Conference, and this year it was the turn of
Fr Richard Reid CSsR.
The Conference, which took place from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th of June, was a wonderful experience and many people are now back home but with spirits lifted and their prayerlife renewed!
SPEAKERS 2015
Dana is an international recording artist and she is today established as one of Ireland’s most successful entertainers, having enjoyed outstanding acclaim through best selling recordings, top rating television appearances and major headlining concerts both in Ireland and abroad. As a Catholic, she works tirelessly for peace, Christian family values and respect for life.
Fr Pat Deegan is the Spiritual Director for the Northern Catholic Conference and is parish priest at Our Lady's & St Alphonsus in Moss Side, Manchester. Fr Pat holds a masters degree in counselling from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio.
Sr Roseann Reddy is from the Sisters of the Gospel of Life which was established by Sr Roseann and Sr Andrea Fraile in 2000. Sr Roseann is well know for her talks on pro-life; a truly inspirational and passionate speaker.
Fr Richard Reid CSsR is a Redemptorist Priest currently based in London where he is the Rector of the Clapham monastery and Parish Priest of the parish. He has served in many different communities in England, Scotland, Belgium and Zimbabwe. His varied ministries include giving Missions and Retreats, Formator, Vocations Director and Province Web Master. Recently he was elected to the Provincial Council of the Redemptorists of the London Province, which consists of Scotland, England and Zimbabwe. Find out more from the website www.redemptorists.co.uk
