London Calling...
What a wonderful few days of Faith here in London, Our Lady's Wanstead to be precise. We are overwhelmed by the people's response to our Redemptorist Mission. 500 - 600 people at evening Services and 200 at the morning mass.
Young and Old from morning till the 8pm evening service have been coming to hear a message of forgiveness, healing and hope. All are being challenged to live for the Lord and make a difference in today's broken world.
With lay involvement we have had Preaching, Drama, Stories of Faith and Mime, we even had Terry Chimes, the Drummer of 'The Clash' as a 'disciple' as we explained the great gift of the Mass. A Powerful event in the life of a Parish.
